There are four two possible types of Membership within IRISS. The differentiated membership types are designed to suit the various requirements of the research community.
Corporate Membership is open to any company, partnership, association, foundation, academic body, organisation or an organised body of persons whatever the nature and wherever domiciled, subject to the proviso that such a body should be interested in research activity within the social sciences field and should have at least one member who is qualified in any of the social sciences covered by the IRISS. An Institutional Member nominates its representatives as members of the IRISS on the basis of the institutional membership type it opts for.
Institutional Members may increase their representation in the IRISS by taking advantage of the special rates indicated below. The IRISS Membership rates have been formulated to encourage more members from the same institution to be involved and to shape in the activities of the IRISS.
The Institutional Member pays the standard subscription based on the number of persons it would like to be represented on the IRISS and the rates decrease with each additional representative. This type of membership is transferable and membership transfers need to be notified in writing to the IRISS.
